Matt Goodwin

Matt Goodwin is a data scientist with Visible City. He builds on experience in the West Coast software industry to pursue his passion of combining innovative analytic and visualization techniques. His underlying goal and role is to help clients better understand themselves, so they can better prepare for their future. Matt is currently pursuing his Masters of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Minnesota. His research projects include mapping disparity in carsharing programs and ongoing efforts to visualize a city’s economic accessibility using local business data. Previously at Harvey Mudd College, Matt engaged in a variety of projects including advanced antenna design and identifying ways to strengthen operating efficiencies of power plants. Matt is also involved as a Project Fellow at a public policy consulting firm, where he works to ensure emerging technologies are used to create equitable outcomes.
